Terms & Conditions
Participation Requirements & Equipment
Each participant is responsible for their own health suitability and equipment. The guide must check participants’ equipment before the tour. Insufficient equipment or obvious lack of preparation may result in exclusion without refund. Participants are obliged to provide truthful information about their experience and fitness during registration.
Tour Conduct & On-Site Decisions
Despite careful planning, reaching the planned goal (e.g., a summit) cannot be guaranteed. Decisions regarding route selection, breaks, cancellation or continuation of the tour, and the use of special equipment (e.g., rope, crampons) are at the sole discretion of the guide. For safety reasons, the guide’s instructions must be strictly followed. The guide assumes no liability for disregard of these instructions.
Safety & Personal Responsibility
Alpine activities involve risks. No claims can be made for weather-related changes, avalanche danger, rockfall, or other alpine hazards, including resulting tour cancellations. Damage or loss of rented equipment beyond normal wear is to be compensated by the participant.
Liability & Insurance
The guide holds a legally required liability insurance covering personal injury, property, and financial damage. Liability for slight negligence is excluded. Claims for loss of enjoyment or similar damages are excluded. Participation is at your own risk. A high level of caution and personal responsibility is expected. No liability is accepted for risks related to alpine hazards (e.g., falls, avalanches, cold, crevasses, sudden weather changes).
Contract & Booking
A contract is concluded once there is agreement on the tour, fees, date, and participant number—regardless of whether the booking is made in writing, verbally, or by phone. Anyone registering multiple participants acts as the contractual partner and is liable for the total amount. Changes to the schedule due to weather or unforeseen events are reserved.
Minimum Participants & Guide Cancellation
The event requires the minimum number of participants stated in the offer. If the minimum is not reached, the guide reserves the right to cancel the contract up to 7 days before the event. Payments already made will be fully refunded. Alternatively, a new offer with adjusted conditions can be proposed. The guide may cancel the contract if unusual or unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, government orders) prevent the tour. In such cases, the guest will be charged for expenses incurred up to that point. Insurance CoverageBesides the guide’s liability insurance, participants must ensure they have adequate insurance coverage (e.g., accident, cancellation, rescue costs). Especially rescue or helicopter evacuations can incur significant costs not covered by statutory health insurance. Appropriate insurance is strongly recommended.
Cancellation Policy
Fees apply for cancellations as follows:
Up to 30 days before start: €100 processing fee
29–19 days before start: 30% of booking amount
18–7 days before start: 75% of booking amount
From 6 days before start: 100% of booking amount
Additional costs (e.g., for huts, hotels, heliskiing) are also the responsibility of the participant.
Date changes are considered cancellations followed by new bookings.
Data Protection & Use of Images
The guide is authorized to store and process personal data for contract purposes. The guest agrees that photos and videos taken during the tour may be used for promotional purposes. Guests may object to the use of images for advertising at any time. Withdrawal of consent is possible at any time. Personal data are stored
